He has made a career out of being one of the best scoring and passing guards in his time with the Los Angeles Lakers. He led the team to a number of Finals, but was tormented by the Boston Celtics in the deciding series for years. He reached his break-through two years before he retired in 1972, when his Lakers beat the New York Knicks.
